Matt McCarty Claims First PGA Tour Title

Rookie Matt McCarty achieved his first PGA Tour victory at the Black Desert Championship, finishing with a 67, four under par, and a three-shot lead. This marks his third career start and second since earning automatic promotion from the Korn Ferry Tour due to three wins this season. McCarty is the first player since Jason Gore in 2005 to win on the PGA Tour in the same season as his promotion.
