Simone Biles Leads US Gymnastics Trials Ahead of Paris 2024

Gymnastics legend Simone Biles has taken the lead at the US Olympic trials in Minneapolis, scoring 58.900 points after the first day of competition. She impressed the crowd with her signature "Biles II" vault. Biles is ahead of Jordan Chiles ( 56.400 ) and 2021 Olympic all-around champion Suni Lee (56.025), who has returned to top form after a major kidney illness.
