El-Abd, 44, will join the England team in time for their autumn campaign, which kicks off on November 2 against New Zealand. However, at first, he will combine his responsibilities as head coach of Oyonnax, his present club, with his new one.
El-Abd won't start working for England full-time until the second-tier French team's 2024–25 season is over.
