According to number eight Ben Earl, England has experienced "some heartache" and now needs to "get over the line" in close Test matches against the top teams in the globe.
Despite leading for significant portions of both games, Steve Borthwick's team barely lost two summer Test matches against the All Blacks before hosting New Zealand at Twickenham's Allianz Stadium on Saturday.
Earl believes Saturday's first game of their Autumn Nations Series is the ideal opportunity to make amends after they were defeated by France by two points in their final Six Nations contest.
