Modric named in Croatia's Nations League squad

Croatia's 24-man roster for the Uefa Nations League season's opening games includes Luka Modric.
Having made his debut for his nation in 2006 at the age of 20, Real Madrid captain Modric will be 39 in September.
It was unclear whether Modric would stay on the national team after Croatia was eliminated in the group round of Euro 2024 this summer.
