Briton Catterall beats Prograis in thriller

Jack Catterall defeated Regis Prograis in their light-welterweight match in Manchester, earning his third headline victory in a year and setting himself up for a title fight in 2025.
After a flurry of strikes from Prograis that culminated in a forceful right jab to the jaw, Catterall was knocked down in round five of a brutal, see-saw fight at Co-op Live.The fight was hectic at times but always entertaining to watch, and in the eighth round both men were knocked down after struggling before collapsing and nearly falling through the ropes.
