Boulter through to quarter-finals of HK Open

In the Hong Kong Open, British number one Katie Boulter defeated Wang Xiyu of China in straight sets to go to the quarterfinals.
In two hours and fifteen minutes, the 28-year-old defeated Wang 7-6 (9-7) 6-4 in an attempt to win her third title of the year.
Boulter, the second seed, defeated the world number 100 in a much easier second set after a hard-fought first set that required a tie-break.
