BJK Cup finals transition to eight-team event

In order to emulate the current Davis Cup structure, the International Tennis Federation (ITF) announced on Friday that the Billie Jean King Cup finals will be held with eight teams instead of the current twelve next year.
The modification is a component of ITF's goal to bridge the gap between men's and women's international team tennis championships.
