African champion after his coronation in the Basketball Africa League, Al Ahly will defend the continent during the next edition of the Intercontinental Cup. The tournament groups were drawn and the Egyptians were placed in Pool A along with NBA G-League Ignite (USA) and Sesi Franca (Brazil).
