President of Ghana Athletics, Bawa Fuseini, reveals the country “will request to host” the CAA Senior African Athletics Championships in 2026.
This comes after the successful hosting of track and field events during the African Games Accra 2023 at the Legon Stadium.
The Ghanaian government spent US$34 million on the renovation and completion of the facility prior to the Games.
