Police charge three A-League players with alleged

Following allegations of manipulating yellow cards, three Australian premier league players have been prosecuted by police on suspicion of betting corruption.

According to New South Wales (NSW) police, a senior player allegedly received orders to arrange for yellow cards to be given during games in exchange for cash from a "organized crime figure currently offshore in South America."

It is believed that on November 24, 2023, and December 9, 2023, reservations were falsified.
