Raunak Chauhan`s stellar performance in Pune marks a significant milestone in his badminton career.

Chhattisgarh`s Raunak Chauhan has emerged as a formidable force in Indian badminton, clinching the runner-up position at the prestigious All India Senior Ranking Badminton Championship held in Pune. His journey through the tournament showcased not only his remarkable skills but also an impressive composure that belied his youth.

In the quarter-finals, Raunak faced off against Siddhant Gupta from Tamil Nadu, securing a hard-fought victory with scores of 21-19, 21-8. He continued his impressive form into the semi-finals, where he dominated Darshan Pujari of Maharashtra, winning decisively at 21-8, 21-8, to book his place in the finals. This marked Raunak`s first appearance in a national-level final, where he encountered Tushar Suveer from Karnataka. Despite a valiant effort, Raunak fell short, ending the match with scores of 19-21, 21-16, 12-21.

This achievement builds on Raunak`s steady progress, having reached the semi-finals of the National Badminton Championship last year. He is now recognized as one of India`s most promising young talents.
