Bills` Allen Shines in Playoff Victory

The 2025 NFL playoffs kicked off with thrilling wild-card matchups, showcasing standout performances from several teams. The Buffalo Bills delivered a commanding performance against the Denver Broncos, winning 31-7. Quarterback Josh Allen was exceptional, completing 20 of 26 passes for 272 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions, while also adding 46 rushing yards. This marked Allen's fifth career playoff game with two passing touchdowns and zero interceptions, a rare achievement in NFL history.

In another AFC clash, the Baltimore Ravens triumphed over the Pittsburgh Steelers with a score of 28-14. Derrick Henry had a remarkable outing, rushing for 186 yards, which ranks as the third-most rushing yards in a player's postseason debut with a team. The Ravens dominated the ground game, outrushing the Steelers 299-29, establishing the third-largest yardage differential in NFL playoff history.

The NFC wild-card round saw the Philadelphia Eagles secure a solid 22-10 victory against the Green Bay Packers. Jalen Hurts contributed significantly with two touchdown passes, while Saquon Barkley rushed for 119 yards. The Eagles' defense, ranked second in the league, effectively limited the Packers to just 10 points, marking their lowest scoring game of the season.

In a surprising turn, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers fell to the Washington Commanders, losing 24-17. The Commanders' defense played a crucial role in this victory, restricting the Buccaneers to only 17 points. Additionally, the Houston Texans defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 32-12, with Joe Mixon leading the Texans' rushing attack with 106 yards.

Looking ahead, the Minnesota Vikings are set to face the Los Angeles Rams on January 13, in a game relocated to State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, due to wildfires in Los Angeles. This matchup is pivotal as it will determine which team advances further in the playoffs.

The current playoff standings feature the Kansas City Chiefs as the number one seed in the AFC, enjoying a bye, while the Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens, Houston Texans, Los Angeles Chargers, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Denver Broncos compete for advancement. In the NFC, the Detroit Lions hold the top seed, with the Philadelphia Eagles, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Los Angeles Rams, Minnesota Vikings, Washington Commanders, and Green Bay Packers vying for playoff success.
