Earlier in the tournament, the Indian men`s team demonstrated their prowess by defeating Bhutan with a score of 71-32, which guaranteed their advancement to the quarter-finals. The Indian women`s team also made headlines by outclassing Malaysia, winning by a significant margin of 80 points, and is now set to face Bangladesh in the quarter-finals.

The knockout stage of the tournament includes both quarter-finals and semi-finals, with the semi-finals scheduled for January 18, and the finals to follow on January 19, 2025.
