Arsenal Eyes Jota as Summer Transfer Window Approaches

Arsenal targets Jota and Zubimendi, while Manchester United considers Lopez and loaning Casemiro.

Arsenal is ramping up its efforts ahead of the summer transfer window, targeting several key players to bolster their squad. Among the top prospects is Liverpool`s Diogo Jota, whose injury history and Liverpool`s openness to sell at the right price make him an attractive option for the Gunners. Additionally, Arsenal is keen on securing Alexander Isak and Nico Williams, while they have already finalized a £51 million deal for Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi.

Manchester United is also contemplating significant moves, including a potential acquisition of Fermin Lopez from Barcelona. However, Lopez has shown no interest in leaving the Catalan club. United is exploring the possibility of loaning out Casemiro to Flamengo, as he has not featured in Ruben Amorim`s plans since December.

Chelsea is preparing for a busy summer, focusing on new forwards and a goalkeeper. They are close to signing 19-year-old midfielder Dario Essugo from Sporting and are monitoring Liverpool`s Caoimhin Kelleher as a potential replacement for their current goalkeepers. Chelsea is also interested in Ousmane Diomande from Sporting, hoping to negotiate a deal below his £66.6 million release clause.

Tottenham Hotspur is set for an active summer as well, with interest in Fiorentina striker Moise Kean, who has been in remarkable form, netting 15 Serie A goals. Crystal Palace is facing interest in their striker Jean-Philippe Mateta, with Barcelona and other clubs keen on his services. Controversially, Palace shareholder John Textor is considering a transfer of Mateta to his French side, Lyon.

Liverpool is on the lookout for potential replacements for Virgil van Dijk, with Feyenoord defender David Hancko emerging as a key target. Hancko is also attracting interest from Chelsea, Tottenham, Bayern Munich, and Juventus. Meanwhile, England`s women`s senior team has been named for the UEFA Women’s Nations League matches, with notable returns and absences due to injuries.

For the men`s under-17 team, Neil Ryan`s Young Lions are set to face the Netherlands in two upcoming fixtures in Portugal.
