He will kick off his season at the Volta ao Algarve in mid-February, followed by key races such as Paris-Nice, the Volta a Catalunya, and the Critérium du Dauphiné, all serving as crucial preparation for the Tour de France.

Vingegaard's primary ambition is to secure his third Tour de France title, a race he holds in high regard, describing it as the one that `means the most` to him. He will be supported by a strong team, including Simon Yates, Matteo Jorgenson, and Wout van Aert. While Van Aert will focus on the Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix, he, along with Yates and Olav Kooij, will also compete in the Giro d'Italia for Visma-Lease a Bike.

The 2025 Tour de France promises to be challenging, featuring two time trials and six summit finishes. Vingegaard is expected to face fierce competition from Tadej Pogačar of UAE Team Emirates, who won the 2024 Tour de France with a significant lead.
