Tang and Tse`s historic victory at the Badminton Asia Championships highlights their resilience and sets the stage for future competitions.

Jordan Tang Chun-man and Tse Ying-suet have made history by winning the gold medal in mixed doubles at the Badminton Asia Championships. They triumphed over Japan`s Hiroki Midorikawa and Natsu Saito with a score of 2-1 in the finals, marking their first Asian championship title and making them the second pair from Hong Kong to achieve this feat.

Their journey to the gold medal was particularly inspiring, as Tang and Tse reunited just two weeks before the tournament following Tse`s recovery from surgery and a leg injury. Their remarkable performance included a stunning semifinal victory against the world number one pair, Jiang Zhenbang and Wei Yaxin from mainland China, which they won decisively with a score of 2-0.

With this victory, the Tang-Tse duo is now setting their sights on the upcoming Sudirman Cup and other international tournaments, aiming to build on their recent success and continue to elevate Hong Kong`s presence in the badminton world.
