Davis Shines as Notre Dame Tops Boston College

Notre Dame secured a much-needed victory against Boston College, winning 78-60 at the Purcell Pavilion in South Bend, Indiana. This win snapped a four-game losing streak for the Fighting Irish, improving their record to 2-1 in the ACC. Tae Davis was the standout performer, leading the team with 26 points, while Markus Burton contributed significantly with 20 points.

From the outset, Notre Dame took control of the game, establishing a substantial lead that they maintained throughout. The efficient shooting of Davis and the consistent scoring from Burton were key factors in the Fighting Irish's performance. This victory is crucial for Notre Dame as they look to climb the ACC standings after a disappointing loss to Western Carolina just days earlier.

In that previous game, Notre Dame fell 71-61, despite a strong effort from freshman Carey Booth, who scored 20 points. Western Carolina's Vonterius Woolbright had an impressive game, scoring 22 points and grabbing 11 rebounds, helping his team secure the win.

As the NCAA men's basketball season progresses, teams like Auburn, Iowa State, and Duke continue to dominate the rankings, with Auburn holding a strong 15-1 record.
