Pakistan suffer major blow ahead of NZ T20I series

Before the five-match T20I series against New Zealand, the Pakistani cricket team was dealt a serious blow: all-rounder and vice captain Shadab Khan is expected to miss the tour because of a foot injury.

After suffering a foot injury during the most recent National T20 Cup, 25-year-old Shadab has been sidelined.

It is extremely unlikely that he will play in the forthcoming five-match Twenty20 International series, and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PC will start searching for the 25-year-old's replacement soon.
