Svitolina eyes 2025 return after foot surgery

Due to a persistent foot problem, Elina Svitolina had surgery, which ended her 2024 season on the Hologic WTA Tour. The news was revealed on Instagram by the 30-year-old Ukrainian.
"Unfortunately, my 2024 season is now in the books because I had foot surgery today to address a chronic injury that I have been attempting to manage this year," Svitolina stated.
