Should the match end in a tie, teams will engage in multiple Super Overs, adhering to the revised ICC rules established after the dramatic 2019 World Cup final.

In the event of rain disrupting play, a reserve day is scheduled for March 10. If the match cannot be completed on either day, India and New Zealand will be declared joint winners, reminiscent of the 2002 Champions Trophy final between India and Sri Lanka.
