Wigan thump Catalans to go second in Super League

Wigan Warriors came back from behind to defeat Catalans Dragons and go up to the top of the Super League table thanks to a scorching start to the second half.

Wigan took the lead for the first time on 44 minutes thanks to a brilliant kick-and-chase play by Harry Smith. Shortly after, Adam Keighran crossed, giving the hosts a two-goal advantage.

At halftime, the match was evenly matched with to goals from Dragons prop Julian Bousquet and Warriors' Luke Thompson, with an Arthur Mourgue penalty goal making the difference.
