CrossFit Workouts for December 30, 2024


On December 30, 2024, various CrossFit gyms released their daily workouts, each with a unique focus on strength, conditioning, and overall fitness.

At CrossFit Invictus, the workout of the day (WOD) includes a series of rotational landmine presses and goblet Cossack squats. Athletes are instructed to perform three sets of rotational landmine presses with 8 reps each at a tempo of 22X1, followed by 60-90 seconds of rest. Similarly, they must complete goblet Cossack squats with 8 reps each at a tempo of 21X1, also resting for 60-90 seconds between sets[2].

CrossFit Pistoleros started their day with a comprehensive warm-up session. This included front to back leg swings, side to side leg swings, lateral line hops, sagittal line hops, and `Shoo the Chickens` exercises, culminating in a 200m jog. The detailed warm-up sets the stage for a rigorous workout[3].

At CrossFit West Houston, the strength focus was on pulsing half split squats. Athletes were required to perform 8 rounds of pulsing half split squats with 10 reps on each leg, using 50% of their 3-rep max. Additionally, there was a conditioning option involving a 20-minute AMRAP (As Many Rounds As Possible)[5].

These workouts highlight the diverse and challenging nature of CrossFit training, emphasizing both strength and conditioning to ensure well-rounded fitness.
