Mount St. Mary`s men`s lacrosse team faced a heartbreaking defeat against St. Bonaventure, losing 9-8 in an overtime showdown on February 11. The Mount started strong, with Brody Atkinson netting two goals, while Collin Thomson and Carter Quested each contributed one goal. The defense was formidable, allowing only one goal on seven shots in the first quarter, with Bennett Wright making six saves out of 13 attempts.

However, St. Bonaventure rallied in the second quarter, scoring four goals to tie the game at 4-4 by halftime. The third quarter saw a single goal from the Bonnies, and the Mount led 5-4 heading into the final quarter. In a dramatic finish, St. Bonaventure equalized, forcing the game into overtime, where Drew Kenney scored the decisive goal.

In Ivy League women`s lacrosse, Yale has been favored to repeat as regular season champions, securing 13 out of 16 first-place votes in the 2025 preseason poll. Penn and Princeton also received notable mentions, with Penn earning two first-place votes and Princeton one. Harvard is projected to finish fourth, securing the last spot in the Ivy League Tournament, set for May 2 & 4.
