Shelton, Rune through to quarterfinals

Ben Shelton defeated home favorite Stan Wawrinka 7-6 (2), 7-5 in the Swiss Indoors event to go to the quarterfinals. Shelton, 22, will compete against Andrey Rublev, the number one seed, for a berth in the final four.
Fourth-seeded Holger Rune also made progress. After defeating Dominic Stricker of Switzerland 6-3, 7-6 (2), he will face David Goffin.
