The team has already made a strategic move by signing Canadian winger Theo Corbeanu on loan from Granada CF, signaling a proactive approach to strengthening the squad. More additions are anticipated, particularly in defensive positions, as Toronto FC looks to solidify its lineup ahead of the new season. The training camp has been relocated to Marbella, Spain, where Fraser is conducting intensive sessions to instill new principles and strategies within the team.

Toronto FC will return to Canada on February 3 before continuing their preparations in Palm Beach, Florida. The season opener is scheduled against D.C. United on February 22, followed by the home opener against the Chicago Fire on March 15. The 2025 MLS season will consist of 34 regular-season games, culminating in Decision Day on October 18. The MLS All-Star Game is set for July 23 at Q2 Stadium in Austin, Texas. New roster rules for 2025 will allow clubs to utilize unlimited out-of-pocket funds for player trades, albeit with certain restrictions.
