Demolition signs a Legends deal with WWE, while R-Truth moves to SmackDown and Ricky Starks eyes NXT Vengeance Day.

Demolition, the legendary tag team of Bill Eadie (Ax) and Barry Darsow (Smash), has officially signed a Legends deal with WWE. This agreement comes after years of legal disputes over the Demolition trademark and their involvement in a dismissed CTE lawsuit against the company. Their signing opens the door for a potential induction into the WWE Hall of Fame during WrestleMania 41 Weekend in Las Vegas, NV, and creates opportunities for merchandise licensing, including action figures and video games. Both Eadie and Darsow had successful singles careers, with Eadie known as The Masked Superstar and Darsow as The Repo Man.

In roster updates, R-Truth has been moved from Monday Night RAW to Friday Night SmackDown effective immediately. This transition is part of WWE`s strategy to refresh its brand, following similar moves for Drew McIntyre, Alexa Bliss, and Zelina Vega. With the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event approaching on March 1st and the WWE Draft scheduled after WrestleMania 41, these changes are crucial for maintaining viewer engagement.

Additionally, former AEW star Ricky Starks is expected to make an appearance at NXT Vengeance Day this Saturday, just days after his release from AEW. Starks, who has connections with WWE management and has been seen backstage with Cody Rhodes, is now cleared to work for WWE, raising anticipation for his debut at the event.
