Pasukan Botung and Malang`s women’s team shine in recent Sepak Takraw tournaments, showcasing exceptional talent and determination.

Pasukan Botung showcased their dominance at the Sepak Takraw Terbuka Kadamaian Mukim Lasau tournament, held during the vibrant Pesta Kaamatan 2025 festival. The tournament, which took place on June 28-29, culminated in a thrilling final where Botung triumphed over Pasukan Tampasuk A, solidifying their status as a formidable force in the sport. The intensity of the match kept spectators on the edge of their seats, as Botung`s skill and teamwork shone brightly.

In the battle for third place, Pasukan Podi A and Pasukan Tekulung A fought valiantly, finishing in third and fourth respectively. Their performances throughout the tournament were commendable, adding to the excitement of the festival.

Meanwhile, on July 3, the women`s Sepak Takraw team from Malang clinched a gold medal by defeating Bangkalan with a decisive 2-0 victory. This triumph not only highlights the growing prowess of women`s Sepak Takraw but also brings pride to Malang, as reported by JTV Malang.
