India celebrates a historic milestone in para badminton, with multiple athletes shining on the international stage.

India`s para badminton players have etched their names in history at the Badminton Asia Para Badminton Championships 2025, with the men`s doubles duo of Abu Hubaida and Prem Ale clinching the nation`s first-ever medal in this category. Their stunning victory over Thailand`s A Sai Len and A Sriboran, with a commanding score of 21-12, 21-12, has sparked a wave of pride across the nation.

The success didn`t stop there, as other Indian athletes also shone brightly. Palak Kohli and Abhijeet Sakhuja secured silver in the mixed doubles SL3-SU5 category, while Naveen Sivakumar added another silver in men`s singles SL4. The podium was further graced by bronze medalists Sanjana Kumari and Ruthick Ragupathi, showcasing a robust Indian presence across various para badminton categories.

In mainstream badminton, the likes of PV Sindhu, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy, and Chirag Shetty continue to make headlines. Sindhu recently advanced in the Indonesia Open Super 1000, while Satwik and Chirag reached the semifinals of the Singapore Open Super 750, narrowly losing to Malaysia`s Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik in a thrilling three-game battle.
