Odermatt wins downhill title

Marco Odermatt of Switzerland won the downhill championship, earning his fourth men's Alpine skiing World Cup crystal globe this season.

Following the cancellation of the final race at the Austrian town of Saalbach due to inclement weather, Odermatt was given the title.

The winners of each category in the World Cup get crystal globes.
