Navy men`s lacrosse defeated Towson 14-10, led by William Goers` six-point performance, while women`s lacrosse updates highlight conference standings.

Navy men`s lacrosse continued its strong start to the season with a 14-10 victory over 18th-ranked Towson at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. The Mids improved to 3-0, while Towson fell to 0-3. The game began with Towson taking an early 3-0 lead, but Navy quickly responded, leveling the score at 3-3 thanks to an extra-man goal from Henry Tolker.

Jack Nichtern`s impressive swim move brought the score to 4-4, igniting a 5-0 run for Navy that set the tone for the match. William Goers scored the first goal of the second quarter, giving Navy a lead they would not relinquish. The Mids ended the first quarter with a 6-4 advantage and maintained their momentum, outscoring Towson 3-2 in the fourth quarter to secure the win. Goers led all scorers with a career-high six points, including four goals and two assists.

In women`s lacrosse, the America East Conference standings show UMass Lowell, Vermont, and UMBC undefeated in conference play, while UAlbany struggles with a 0-3 record. In a competitive match, Washington and Lee fell to No. 4 Franklin and Marshall, with a final score of 12-16.
