Saint Michael`s College Men`s Lacrosse excels with Cooper Wilson`s records, aiming for NE10 Championship success this season.

Saint Michael`s College Men`s Lacrosse team had a remarkable season in 2025, achieving their best performance in over a decade. The team tied for fourth in the conference and consistently garnered votes in the USILA national poll. Key players returning include senior faceoff specialist Cooper Wilson, who set new school records with 193 faceoff wins and 131 ground balls, while also approaching the career faceoff victories record.

Senior goalie Sean Regan and attack player Sebastian Simonson earned Preseason All-America honors, with Simonson recognized by two organizations. Their contributions were pivotal in a standout victory against seventh-ranked Saint Anselm College, where the Purple Knights triumphed 15-13 on April 17. Head coach Alex Smith was honored as the NEILA Coach of the Year and NE10 Coach of the Year for his leadership.

The Purple Knights kick off their season at Felician University, followed by a three-game homestand, including a matchup against defending national champion Adelphi University. The schedule also features contests against ranked teams like Frostburg State University and Pace University, setting the stage for an exciting NE10 Championship beginning April 26.
