Djokovic beats De Minaur to reach Monte Carlo semi

After defeating Australian Alex de Minaur to advance to the semi-finals, Novak Djokovic took a step closer to winning his first Monte Carlo Masters championship since 2015.

The 36-year-old world no. 1 Djokovic prevailed 7-5 6-4 after a chaotic second set that featured seven breakaways of serve.

The Serbian has advanced to the 77th semifinal of an ATP 1000 event, breaking Rafael Nadal's record.
