The women`s singles saw Han Yue from China triumph over India`s Malvika Bansod, winning the match with scores of 20-22, 21-16, 21-11 on January 15. In women`s doubles, the Chinese duo of Xu Luo Min and Y Li delivered a commanding performance against India`s Rashmi Ganesh and Sania Sikkandar, winning decisively with a score of 21-8, 21-9 on January 14.
However, not all Chinese pairs found success in the tournament. In men`s doubles, the Chinese team of Xie Haonan and Zang Weihan was defeated by Malaysia`s Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik, with a score of 21-10, 21-18 in a match that lasted 38 minutes.
Looking ahead, China, as the top seeds, is set to compete in the upcoming Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championship. They have been drawn into Group A alongside Taiwan and Singapore, with the tournament scheduled to take place in Qingdao, China from February 11 to 16.
