West Coast Fever wins their first title, led by Jhaniele Fowler`s incredible performance against Melbourne Vixens.

West Coast Fever clinched their first Suncorp Super Netball title, defeating the Melbourne Vixens 70 to 59 in a thrilling final at RAC Arena, Perth. The Fever, who finished last in the previous season, showcased a remarkable turnaround, with star shooter Jhaniele Fowler delivering an outstanding performance, scoring 62 goals from 63 attempts. Her near-perfect display earned her the player of the match honors and marked her fourth Super Netball MVP award.

The Fever maintained their lead at every break, with a roaring home crowd of 13,908 setting a new Super Netball attendance record. Coach Dan Ryan praised his team`s resilience, stating, "To go from wooden spooners to champions in 12 months is just incredible." Captain Courtney Bruce expressed her emotional relief, dedicating the victory to their loyal fans.

For the Vixens, Mwai Kumwenda fought valiantly with 37 goals but could not match Fowler`s dominance. Coach Simone McKinnis acknowledged the Fever`s exceptional performance, stating they were simply outplayed on the day. The victory not only marks a historic achievement for the Fever but also establishes them as a formidable force in Australian netball as they head into the 2026 season.
