National League Rugby in England is facing significant disruptions due to freezing weather conditions. Following a two-week break for the Christmas period, widespread frost and snow have led to the postponement of several matches in National League 1. Notably, four matches have been called off, including the Rams' trip to Sale FC, which was set to be a crucial encounter for both teams.

Other postponed matches include Bishop's Stortford against Birmingham Moseley, Darlington Mowden Park versus Richmond, and Leicester Lions taking on Plymouth Albion. Additionally, Sedgley Park will face Dings Crusaders on an artificial surface at Shaftesbury Park, looking to extend their unbeaten run throughout December.
