UEFA is preparing changes to its competition..

UEFA on Monday unveiled a new formula for the Women's Champions League from the 2025-26 season and announced the creation of another club competition. The new version of the Champions League, the concept of which was approved on Saturday by the executive committee of the European body. The tournament will take place in the form of a single group with 18 clubs - instead of the 16 clubs currently divided into four groups -, modeled on the format which will come into force for the men's Champions League from 2024-25.
