Arsenal and Man Utd Eye Major Summer Transfers

Arsenal and Manchester United are pursuing major summer transfers, with Chelsea and Liverpool also active in the market.

Arsenal and Manchester United are both gearing up for a busy summer transfer window, with significant moves on the horizon. Arsenal has officially enquired about Olympiacos duo Charalampos Kostoulas and Christos Mouzakitis, aiming to bolster their squad. Meanwhile, Manchester United is targeting at least two key signings, including the potential permanent transfer of Antony from Real Betis, as they look to strengthen their attacking options.

Chelsea is also making headlines in the transfer market, launching a bid for Barcelona midfielder Fermin Lopez as a possible replacement for Joao Felix. The Blues are keen on signing Dean Huijsen and Nico Williams, both of whom are reportedly interested in the move. Additionally, Chelsea is monitoring Nottingham Forest defender Murillo, but they face stiff competition from Real Madrid.

Liverpool`s Darwin Nunez was close to a move to Al-Nassr in January, and the club is contemplating allowing Mohamed Salah to leave if he does not agree to a new contract, with Al-Hilal emerging as a potential destination. Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola remains interested in Real Madrid’s Rodrygo, having attempted to sign him last summer. City and Liverpool are also in discussions with Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich regarding a possible transfer.

Arsenal is planning a significant summer spending spree, with manager Mikel Arteta looking to sign up to four players, including targets like Alexander Isak and Benjamin Sesko. To fund these acquisitions, the club is considering offloading seven players. Real Madrid continues to express interest in Arsenal’s William Saliba, with the Gunners setting a hefty asking price of over £80 million.

Manchester United is keeping tabs on Bayern Munich’s Mathys Tel during his loan at Tottenham, with a transfer contingent on his performance. In managerial news, Erik ten Hag may receive a career lifeline from Dutch giants Feyenoord amid potential changes at Manchester United, which is also set to cut up to 200 staff as part of cost-cutting measures. Arsenal’s Takehiro Tomiyasu faces long-term fitness concerns, while Lisandro Martinez of Manchester United is set to undergo surgery for a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
