Mark Selby has secured his spot in the Winners' Group of the 2025 BetVictor Championship League Snooker Invitational after a commanding performance in Group 4. The tournament took place at the Mattioli Arena in Leicester, England, from January 10-11, where Selby showcased his exceptional skills.

In the semi-finals, Selby faced Joe O'Connor in a highly anticipated Leicester derby. Selby emerged victorious with a top break of 120, demonstrating his prowess under pressure. Jones secured three wins, allowing Bingham, Jones, O'Connor, and Matthew Selt to advance to Group Five, where they will compete against top players including world number one Judd Trump.

The 2025 Championship League Invitational is a professional non-ranking tournament running from January 3 to February 4, 2025, with a total prize fund of £205,000. Each group winner earns £3,000, while the winner of the Winners' Group will take home £10,000. Additionally, there are prizes for the highest breaks, with £500 for the group stages and £1,000 for the Winners' Group.
