The 2025 Lexus Championship Series features the Boston Cannons defending their title while college teams like Cornell prepare for their season.

The 2025 Lexus Championship Series is underway, featuring thrilling matchups from the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) and the Maybelline Women’s Lacrosse League (WLL) at the St. James in Springfield, Virginia. The Boston Cannons are on a quest to defend their title, while the WLL teams are vying for their first championship.

In the PLL, the New York Atlas showcased their dominance with a commanding 25-13 victory over the Maryland Whipsnakes on February 11. The Cannons will face the Utah Archers on February 12, aiming to maintain their championship momentum. The upcoming matches include the Maryland Whipsnakes against the Cannons on February 13 and a showdown between the Atlas and Archers on February 14.

On the WLL side, the New York Charging narrowly defeated the Maryland Charm 14-13. The Boston Guard will take on the California Palms on February 12, followed by a matchup against the Maryland Charm on February 13. The competition heats up with the California Palms facing the Charging on February 14.

In college lacrosse, the Cornell Big Red men`s team is set to kick off their season against Lehigh on February 15. With eight returning starters and a strong offensive lineup, including Tewaaraton Trophy Watch List members Hugh Kelleher, CJ Kirst, and Michael Long, the Big Red aims to build on last season`s success.

Meanwhile, the San Diego Seals are gearing up to challenge the undefeated Buffalo Bandits on February 15, looking to even their record against the formidable NLL champions.
