LA Lakers name TV pundit Redick as new head coach

JJ Redick, a former player and media pundit, has been chosen the new head coach of the LA Lakers.

After finishing his 15-year playing career, the former shooting guard for the Orlando Magic and Los Angeles Clippers transitioned into punditry with ESPN. He has no prior coaching experience.

The 40-year-old and legendary Lakers player LeBron James co-host a basketball podcast.
