Boxing’s inclusion in LA 2028 Games to be decided

Thomas Bach, head of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), stated on Friday that a decision about boxing's participation in the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles must be made in 2025.


The International Olympic Committee (IOC) is in charge of the boxing tournament at the Paris Olympics after it denied recognition to the International Boxing Association (IBA) last year for failing to enact financial and governance reforms.
