UNI Panthers, Kennesaw State, and Pitt Panthers achieved significant victories in recent softball matchups, showcasing impressive performances.

UNI softball showcased resilience as they triumphed over Ball State with a 7-5 victory on March 2, 2025. After falling behind early, the Panthers mounted a comeback, highlighted by a decisive four-run fifth inning. Kylee Sanders shone with three hits and two RBIs, while Katelyn Callahan contributed with two runs batted in. Anna Wischnowski secured her sixth win of the season, solidifying the Panthers` momentum as they prepare for the Big Red Spring Fling hosted by Nebraska from March 7 to 9.

Kennesaw State Owls concluded their home tournament on a high note, achieving back-to-back victories. They dominated the ETSU Buccaneers with a 10-2 run-rule win, thanks to Hannah Harvey`s impressive two RBI doubles and a strong pitching performance from Emma Friedel. The Owls then edged past Rider Broncs with a close 3-2 win, featuring Ava Guzowski`s solo home run and Leah Jannakos`s three scoreless innings. Kennesaw State is set to travel to Liberty for their Conference USA series starting March 7.

Pitt Panthers secured a narrow 3-2 victory against Long Beach State, with Kyra Pittman earning her fifth win of the season. The Panthers scored two unearned runs in the fourth and added another in the fifth, holding off Long Beach State`s late-game efforts.
