Gouna and Smouha battled to a 1-1 draw in the Relegation Round`s 3rd Matchday of the Egyptian Premier League. Ahmed Shousha opened the scoring for Gouna with a penalty in the 45th minute, but Mohamed Rabia equalized for Smouha in the 72nd minute, ensuring both teams left with a point.

In another match, Ismaily faced a tough defeat against ZED, losing 0-2. Mostafa Saad netted the first goal in the 58th minute, followed shortly by Shady Hussein`s strike in the 61st minute, sealing Ismaily`s fate. Talae El-Geish also suffered a setback, falling 1-2 to Ittihad of Alexandria. G. Okwara scored a late penalty in the 85th minute, while Islam Samir and Mahmoud Alaa had earlier goals for Ittihad.
