Chicago Fire Triumphs Over Toronto FC in MLS Clash

Chicago Fire`s 2-1 victory over Toronto FC featured goals from Gutman and Cuypers, while Vancouver Whitecaps remained unbeaten.

Chicago Fire showcased resilience by overcoming an early setback to defeat Toronto FC 2-1 in their home opener at BMO Field. Toronto struck first in the 11th minute with a goal from Deandre Kerr, putting the Fire on the back foot. However, Andrew Gutman equalized for Chicago in the 30th minute, leveling the score before halftime. Just before the break, Hugo Cuypers netted his fourth goal in three games, giving Chicago a 2-1 lead in the 44th minute.
