Washington and Lee lost to Denison 14-12, while Hamilton fell to Bates 14-8 in recent lacrosse matches.

Washington and Lee`s men`s lacrosse team faced a tough challenge on March 2, 2025, as they were narrowly defeated by No. 20 Denison with a final score of 14-12. The Generals started strong, scoring the first two goals, but Denison quickly responded with a powerful 5-1 run. James Haley led Washington and Lee with an impressive five goals, while Joey Allen added four points to the scoreboard. Denison`s offense was spearheaded by Macky Peck and Collin Murphy, who combined for seven goals, showcasing their offensive prowess.

In another matchup on the same day, Hamilton College`s men`s lacrosse team struggled in their season opener against Bates College, losing 14-8. Bates established dominance early, leading 6-1 after the first quarter and maintaining control throughout the game. Although Hamilton rallied in the final quarter, outscoring Bates 5-0, it wasn`t enough to overcome the deficit.

Additionally, Princeton secured a victory against North Carolina, winning 14-12. The standout performances from Nate Kabiri and Coulter Mackesy were pivotal in this closely contested match, while North Carolina`s Dominic Pietramala contributed with two goals.
