Kaisei Adachi dazzles at the Hamamatsu Open, while Mikey Wright sets a new benchmark at Stab High Japan.

At the Hamamatsu Open, 17-year-old sensation Kaisei Adachi from Japan electrified the crowd with a stunning air reverse, propelling him into the semifinals after a decisive victory over Kaito Kawamata. Adachi`s performance not only showcased his technical prowess but also highlighted the burgeoning talent emerging from Japan`s surfing scene.

Meanwhile, the Stab High Japan 2025, presented by Monster Energy, delivered a spectacle of gravity-defying maneuvers. Mikey Wright set the bar sky-high, achieving an astonishing score of 49 out of 50 with a massive inverted Lien reverse, a feat that will be etched into the annals of pool-bound surfing history. The event also featured a nail-biting surf-off between Shane Borland and Matt Meola, with Meola advancing after a breathtaking display of skill and flair.

Stab High Japan offers an array of categories with lucrative prize money, including $20,000 for Pros and $10,000 for Pro Women, drawing the best talent from around the globe.
