Fisher and Nuguse set world records at the Millrose Games, showcasing remarkable athletic talent and competition.

Grant Fisher and Yared Nuguse delivered historic performances at the 2025 Millrose Games, setting new world records in their respective events. Fisher clocked an astonishing 7:22.91 in the men’s 3,000m, while Nuguse broke the world indoor mile record with a time of 3:46.63.

The women’s elite events showcased fierce competition as well. Jacious Sears from Nike triumphed in the 60 meters finals with a time of 7.02a, closely followed by Celera Barnes and Aleia Hobbs. In the 400 meters, Alexis Holmes secured victory for Nike with a time of 51.21a, edging out Leah Anderson and Helena Ponette.

Shafiqua Maloney from Puma dominated the 800 meters, finishing in 1:59.07, while Lauren Harris from Walk USA led the 1,500 meter racewalk with a time of 6:15.84. The women’s 3,000 meters saw Whittni Morgan from adidas take the win in 8:28.03, and Masai Russell from Nike clinched the 55m hurdles with a time of 7.22a.
