Jolly-Gayatri advance to quarterfinals

Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopi Chand of India advanced to the quarterfinals of the German Open Super 300 badminton event by defeating Czech team Soňa Horinkova and Kateřina Zuzakova in straight sets on Thursday.



Jolly and Gopichand defeated Horinkova and Zuzakova 21-10 21-11 in the round of 16.

The Indian duo will next face the winner of the match between Francesca Corbett and Allison Lee, as well as sixth seeds Jing Yi and Xu Min Luo.
