Fontainebleau is currently hosting the fourth edition of Le Printemps des Sports Équestres, a premier event in the equestrian calendar. This competition showcases elite riders and their horses in various disciplines, including showjumping. Teresa Blazquez-Abascal made headlines by praising her horse, Nasa de Toxandria, as a "dream horse" following their Grand Prix victory, highlighting the intense competition present at this prestigious event.

The international showjumping scene is also represented by accomplished riders such as Tim Prouvé, Rodrigo Szuhai, Mariano Ossa, Niels Fockaert, Peder Fredricson, and Arnaud Gaublomme, all of whom have recently celebrated Grand Prix wins. The current global rankings reflect a competitive landscape, with Henrik von Eckermann leading with 3278 points, closely followed by Kent Farrington and Christian Kukuk. French rider Simon Delestre is making his mark as well, ranked ninth with 2715 points.
